It’s important to recall when exactly our current reality began to take shape, more specifically, “the catalyst years” of 2023 and 2024.

We would like to propose a toast to another year in the Jewish state. 2048 was always going to be a significant milestone. Israel celebrated its centennial with grand celebrations throughout the country, and as always, with widespread pontificating on the years behind and those ahead. In reflecting on one-hundred years since the enactment of the Zionist dream, it’s important to recall when exactly our current reality began to take shape, more specifically, “the catalyst years” of 2023 and 2024. This analysis will expand our understanding of the Israeli state and society as we anxiously look to the second half of the twenty-first century.
